Hi darlings, I’m Keisher Downie, founder of She Music Global. And that little lady, is my why.
Aura-Storm. My lioness, my storm in a teacup, my life. A confident ray of sunshine bursting with good vibes who can party on her own. She’s a constant source of inspiration for what I do, and if I’m truly honest, is the real boss around here.
So. You’ve found out a little about my why, now here’s my how...
I’ve spent over 20 wonderful years working in the music industry. I started my journey in the 90’s, throwing myself in at the deep end at the legendary but cut-throat Hackney Empire talent shows. From here, I moved onto becoming a backing vocalist for the soulful funk group Soul II Soul and witnessed the creation of a dancefloor environment that welcomed anyone and everyone. This is where my story really started, and the birth of She Music Global became inevitable.
I’ve sung with some of the best (and best of the worst) wedding bands in the UK and beyond and found myself falling head over heels in love with places that have inspired some of the bands on my books today. Ibiza has my heart. The beauty and energy of the beautiful balearics has today inspired a small line up of our All-Star Band who perform on the white isle on an exclusive and bespoke basis.
A career in musical theatre has given me the opportunity to perform in West End must-sees such as Tina the Musical and Jesus Christ Superstar alongside stars such as Spice Girl Mel C, Tim Mitchen and Chris Moyles and opening doors to me performing on television shows such as The Jonathan Ross Show.
Opportunities in musical theatre have allowed me to not only hang out with a Spice Girl, (major fangirl moment) but deepen my knowledge about exactly what goes into creating unforgettable entertainment and events. I was able to start my first party band, the Jazz Vixens which then evolved into the She All-Stars, a premier, all female band that you can book today.
The world works in wonderful ways, and this rich and varied path has brought me right to where you find me today. Providing clients with the exact thing that’s missing from their wedding plans - cool bands with authentic souls that form a family showcase of talent.
Being able to marry my love for performing with the joy that comes with planning an event as special as a wedding with couples in love is nothing short of a blessing, and one I am grateful for every day.

First auditions for The Jazz Vixens, Scream Studios Croydon.
5 piece band created and held a 1 residency gig for 2 years in Elephant & Castle.
A sprinkling of gigs for nearly 2 years.
Band revamp to S.H.E! party hits band. Gigs come flooding in!
1 year contract to create a bespoke band for Hotel China
* Idea emerged to create more than one band and grow the company
The King Of Hearts was created and held a 1 year residency at Jazz After Dark, Soho.
King of Hearts stop performing due to lack of gigs
Company name change S.H.E TO She Music Global and the party bands new name of The She All Stars was created.
There She Goes Roaming Band are created and takes the corporate world by storm!
Keisher joins Tina The Musical in the West End
The Disco Dolls created and multiple gigs booked for 2021
